I did read somewhere recently that spaying before a first season carries a 20% chance of urinary incontinence and after the first season the risk drops to 7%. It is a known potential side effect of spaying very young, but this avoids other conditions, so a balance of risks should be considered.
It might be worth finding out if the incontinence is operable as I did hear of a surgical remedy a while ago. Sorry to be so vague, but I'm a bit out of touch with these things and still catching up.
