Well, the idea should be to try to outcross as much as you can, which is hard in this breed due to rarity. But I would think having a sire in common is too close, unless you are a well versed breeder and you know the line intimately.

Only a seasoned long-time breeder would be well enough suited to make this call on breeding, dependant upon working and conformation charateristics, and what they feel the positive outcome would be in such a breeding.

But, I am confused as to how you had intact dogs and didn't know they were related?

Are these just pets with no papers? I guess I'm trying to uderstand how you were not aware of their common lineage.
