Subject: playmate

My husband and I have a six month old male Boerboel. He is a great dog. Lately we have been toying with the idea of getting him a playmate. I don't work outside the home so I am with Romulus all day, able to take him for walks and have special play time with him. I guess that I am afraid he is missing out on something by being the only dog. We see pros and cons to adding an addition to the "family"; any opinions out there?
