Don't know how long you've been in the breed, so forgive me if I'm telling you things you already know.

Casper Labuschagne of the .co.za board frequently mentions this issue. However, there are other views about. I've spoken to people, who met the dog, his dam and siblings and tell a different story.

It's also worth bearing in mind that almost all the Dopper dogs and (a whole lot of others) are descended from Dopper Oubaas, for example, Dopper Madala and Roenard Martiens.

Other notable descendants include Corma Buks, Avontuur Anton and Vanderbijl Roger and Toska. In fact, IMO it's more common than not to find Oubaas in a dog's pedigree in the more popular lines.

If pinpointing aggressive temperament was as simple as finding a particular dog in the pedigree, this breed would be in much better shape.
