First, that's a pretty tiny BB at only 100 pounds. Which gives you the idea that the dog was not properly fed.

You also wonder what that poor dog had been though emotionally, how it had been treated, and/or abused, in order to act like that.
With the Boerboel having such an even temperament, this dog had to have been put through absolute hell.

The owner had to have put this dog through hell in order for it to act like that. I feel the owner probably got what he deserved, IMO.
