I had the exact same problem with the sprinkler bubblers. The key is to provide the dog with something he/she likes to chew better and keep him busy. I went to the local butcher and got a bunch of raw knuckle and hip socket bones. They're laying all over the yard. Chew challanges work too. Buy the hard plastic toys that you can put dry kibble in.
