Well I guess we both can't read.... The original article never said the dog was kept in the garage. It said...

"A neighbor who witnessed the attack called 911 and the St. Charles County Sheriff's Department responded. The dog, an African Mastiff Boerboel, was put into a garage."

This makes me think the attack happened outside of the garage, where the neighbor witnessed it. Then the dog was put in there to be secured. My original point was that you made some pretty serious assumptions without any facts, and publicly expressed them. I personally found them pretty harsh and uncalled for.

Now if you want to research aggressive lines. Have at it. I believe Lucinda offered to help you. I'm pretty sure responsible breeders do lots of that kind of research before breeding. They also test their animals for working ability, temperament, health etc. etc.
