I want the BB recognized by both AKC & UKC because this allows a venue for everything... conformation, agility, weight pull, obedience, service dogs of america, flyball competition and even schutzhund.

I think by having the breed recognized by BOTH, it opens up a great deal of shows for these competitions to take place and a greater venue in which to get ther breed out in the public eye and offer breed endcation.

It can also force some people to step up to the plate and have to have their dogs DNA profiled, as I know there's been alot of talk here & there about some people possibly using other breeds to breed to their BB's.

DNA testing (as AKC mandates after a male has produced 3 litters in one year or 7 in it's lifetime) can help put an end to that speculation.
