****I believe people are concerned with your intentions for the BB because you breed your DDB's for docile temperments only, without trying to preserve their working ability.

I should have stated too... Working traits and temperament traits are completely different!
Diluting poor temperament traits does not dilute working traits if you are carefully breeding and selecting dogs who are very reliable in temperament, but also very reliable in working traits.

It just so happens that in the DDB, they had very few true working abilities to begin with because they were never originally created for working abilities... only fighting abilities, unlike the BB, so by breeding DDB more doscile temperaments, it's possible to see any minor working traits they had to become less & less, UNLESS someone is concentrating on specifically on saving those working traits.

DDB's never did very well as flock guardians as they always have had the urge to attack & subdue other animals as they see them as prey. They can still do cart pulling and weight pulling and do well, but become overheated quickly in warm weather due to the extremely short muzzles.
Breeding for a more doscile temperament would not have affected either of those working traits.

I guess the point I'm trying to make is that working traits and temperament traits can be bred in or out of a dog, but aren't "one" trait. They are separate, so both issues can be bred separately without one issue affecting the other.
