I bought my dog from Dopper in 2004 (Dopper Nebo x Avontuur Rebecca).

He is really smart and I've had no problems with him structurally. That said, he is afraid of everything unknown, especially random noises. He has shown fear aggression against two men, who happen to be my father and brother.

His allergies are both environmental and food. They manifest as sneezing, watery eyes, itchiness and hotspots. He also chews his toes and pads. They are fairly well controlled with diet and cool baths. When they get worse he takes benedryl and if that doesn't control them he takes phenobarbital and pentoxifylline (a vaso-dilator), both of which are inexpensive.

He is male dog aggressive and he has a high prey drive. Luckily I've managed to teach him that the family cat and chickens are not prey.

On the positive side, he is well-behaved, sweet, happy and social. He loves outings to the store as well as multi-state camping trips.

I adore him for who he is, but he's not what I wanted. If I get another BB, I'll buy locally.
