Subject: OCD- Joint problems??

My 9 month old pup started limping at the park on Thursday. I brought her into the vet Friday, and again today. Her limp has improved, but the vet thinks she may have OCD. A cartilage problem in large breed dogs.

Is this common in Boerboels? I will not know anything for sure until x-rays, but I am very concerned. We are taking x-rays next week.

My vet advised me to get pet insurance before she makes a diagnosis. Is there a website that reviews different programs, or any companies/programs you have had success with?
