wood chips are a problem
1 you cant get the dog poop out of the wood chips
2 fleas like wood chips
Just make sure the dog has some dirt to play, poop and pee on you can teach it to not poop or pee on the concrete
BBs are like velcro always at your side you might want to rethink about putting it outside at night.
Both my BBs are inside outside dogs they can come and go as they please even while I'm gone. At night they sleep on the floor at the foot of my bed and dont get up in the morning until I do.
