All dogs are individuals, but you might be surprised how easy Boele are to have as house dogs. They need exercise, obedience training and to be around their people as often as possible. There's a lot of training and communicating that occurs inadvertantly while the dog is with you, so the more time they spend with you, the better behaved they ultimately become. Even having the dog sleep near you strengthens the bond.

Dogs are typically much less stressed, especially as an only dog, if they are kept inside while you're gone. Far less likely to escape, be stolen, annoy the neighbors with barking, etc...
