Subject: Could boerbol get sick after eating raw turkey neck?

In September I had given my Boerboel a raw turkey neck on a Saturday and on Monday he began limping. Took him to the vet and they said it was PANO and said he would just need rest. Two days later he was unable to move and was crying when I tried to move him. I took him back to the Vet and they then after xraying said it may be a tick infection. They gave him antibiotics and he recovered very fast. Two weeks ago I gave him another Raw Turkey neck on a Saturday and he came up limping two days later. Took him to the vet and he has another infection similar to the other. He does get Raw soups bones many times and never has issues. Is it possible that the raw turkey necks are giving him this infection? I have only given him the raw turkey twice and both time he has been strickened with this joint inflamation and infection.

Thanks
