Subject: 2.5 year old bitch to good home (spayed)

It is with great sadness that we offer a 2.5 year old spayed brindle bitch to good home. She is out of Egoli Ceasar and Afrika Teaghan.

Her story:

This bitch was born in my home. I was not satisfied with her conformation as a pup and was prepared to cull her. My mother's best friend loved this little pup from the time she was five weeks of age and begged me to have her, so we sent the pup to TX when she reached 10 weeks of age. Her name is Shrimp.

Anne, her owner, was ill with cancer and had chosen not to tell anyone. She would have been 70 years old in a couple of months and she did an excellent job with Shrimp as a puppy. Shrimp walks well on a leash, enjoys riding in the car and she plays well with other dogs (fila, lab, pomeranian). She has not been around little kids or indoor cats. Anne became very ill very quickly and was unable to work her dog outside of her home and she rarely entertained visitors. She passed away last week.

Shrimp is an excellent guardian that bonds *very* tightly to her family and is aloof with strangers/visitors.

We are hoping to find someone out there that is in search of a velcro boerboel. Shrimp was her guardian's pride and joy. It will take her several days to warm up to her new home, but she is a wiggly, happy, typically goofy boerboel once she has had some time to adjust. She is currently housed in TX and we are willing to adopt out of state. I will be leaving TX for CO in the next day or two and I can bring her north with me.

I took some photos of her yesterday and I hope to get them downloaded shortly. However, I do not have access to a computer that can host my memory card at this time.

For additional info, please call (970)420-5609. We are not interested in money - just a great home for this dog. We hope that we can find her another excellent home this time around.
