Some people have a ligitimate need for a real true guardian type dog with the power few dogs can bring. Although the Swinford is the type of "breed" I personally prefer, a good Boerboel IMO is very impressive and most certainly worthy of being more than just tested. Although not every owner is in need of a true performance dog, I most certainly believe the Boerboel is a potential jem...and should remain among the ranks as a true working dog.
