That is why I seldom recommend protection training for this breed but "only to validate the want to protect and or engage."

Not being stupid, but not sure what your saying here, are you saying that a person shouldn't train his dog (BB) to guard if that is what they want out of the dog, and only do a test to see if he will protect?
