My #1 health concern when looking to buy a dog is its parent's Heart Function, tested by Echo-cardiogram, before any & all else. A puppy with SAS can be happily playing one minute, than drop over dead the next. I *just* heard of another BB that has been diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy this evening! <=^(
After that I want to see the "Ortho-stuff": hips, elbows, shoulders, patellas.. *then* we can get into the blood tests like Thyroid, etc. The more stuff tested the better IMO! Especially in such a "new" breed! Why breed in problems by turning a blind eye & being too lazy/cheap to see what broodstock dogs' health *really* is like?!

I'm constantly surprised at the minimal health-test(s) that is/are considered "acceptable" by BB puppy-buyers who pay $1200+ for a pup.
-I DO mean that in general, & am not speaking to you specifically Hunni. >=^)
