American Boerboel Club
'Meet the Breed' Specialty Match

October 13, 2007
9 AM – 4 PM

The American Boerboel Club would like to invite all club members, their guests, and Boerboel owners to attend the “Meet the Breed” Specialty Match.

The location this year will be the Arrowhead Meadows Park (Northwest Ramada) in Chandler Arizona. Two hotels, Motel 8 and Windmill Suites very close by and pet friendly.

The event is on Saturday and we will be having some fun matches, CGC (Canine Good Citizen) temperament testing, Boerboel breed assessment and a Boerboel specific breed test. The CGC test is a part of the AKC programs. The Boerboel Breed Assessment and Boerboel Specific testing are administered to determine the breed suitability of your Boerboel, its strengths and weaknesses as well as to determine how close its temperament comes to the ideal, ascribed to the Boerboel.

If you are planning on attending and need to have a room reserved for you and your Boerboel please contact ABC411@dominomagic.com .

Those bringing Boerboels please bring your own plastic trash bags and be sure to pick up after your dog. We will also be designating an area for any females suspected of being in heat. Please set up your crates/tents there and attempt to keep your Boerboels within the marked area. Those with females in heat who plan on taking the CGC or other temperament test will be asked to test last.

Please! No extending leashes and make sure your children are under parental control at all times and never left in charge of your Boerboel.

A Barbeque (Braai) is available for a nominal fee for all guests and non-members. Members eat free. Please let us know if you plan on eating at the Barbeque.

A nominal fee will be charged for the CGC, Temperament Test, Assessment and Fun Matches. You may participate in any number of events.
