Subject: Can a BB be too people friendly?

Hello all, first post... so here goes.

We have a 3 month old 35lb BB (Roman) and he is developing wonderfully. Three days ago we took him to the dog park for the first time and he was overjoyed. He did well with the dogs and all of them were pretty well behaved. It was such a positive experience that we took him again the next day. My concern is that he was totally comfortable with the other owners, so much so that he was lying down between peoples feet, and tagging along as owner and dog walked the full length of the enclosure(200ft), seemingly unconcerned as to our whereabouts. Should we be more preventive of these tendencies? I like the idea of him having some freedom in there, but not if it will develop into bad habits for him down the road. Ideally, on neutral ground, he will be tolerant and non-aggressive towards people he has not been introduced to, but not overly friendly and completely trusting. Any advice or opinions are greatly appreciated..
