Hi. :) I have a 15 month old male bb. Yestday we took him into the vet for the first time since we rescued him. He did SO well but like your he wanted to lick everyone to death. :) He was not the least bit protective or aggressive with anyone or thing. I like this personally because that way I can take him any place. The fact that he LOOKS like he would bite someone seems to be enough for some people. And he does sence when things are wrong. Now at home he is different he wil bark growl and put up a front rather or not he would take it any further I don't know. I think that the breed while protective at home shouldn't be outside of it. They are big dogs what I have seen with them is that many act like my guy.
