Try not to be so hard on the dog. I don't think it is fair to compare a dog to a child molester. This is a rescue, so maybe his history is unknown. Much safer to place a rescue with an unknown history in an adult home. And if he is untrustworthy with children, hopefully he will be placed with responisble owners. A dog not safe with visiting children can always be crated or otherwise put up somewhere secure until the kids leave.
