I as well had my husband pass away in 2004. He had ALS (Lou Gerhrig's. We have two children, a mortgage, a car payment, mothly bills and need to buy food just like everyone else. I am finding myself further behind everyday. I will never get this funeral paid for. I still owe $3500.00. I worry about my kids, I have as much life insurance as I can afford but it still isn't enough to pay for my funeral and the house. I have never asked for help from anyone and I don't want my kids to know that I can't afford their father's funeral. I don't know where to turn.
