I am in a real jam that i cannot get out of without a little bit of help.. I have a shut-off notice for my electric that is due on 6/23. This came in the same week that our landlord took us to court because we were behind 100 dollars, and our car broke down and we had to pay for a rental car just to be able to keep going to work everyday. There is no real public transportation system that can get us to our jobs, and taxis are insanely priced. I have to pay them $749 by 6/23. I will have $200 of it on that day, and the rest in about three weeks. I am looking for asny help that anyone can offer me. I have looked into the resources through the commnunity, but my situation is more of a temporary hardship, as opposed to being low-income which is the only way the resources will help you. I am interested in any help anyone can offer to me. I have a little girl who is 2 years old and i am terrified that if i don't come up with the money and i lose my electric that she will get taken away from me.
