If your roof structure is as I picture it. (click) I would have framed in saddles in there and installed torchdown. There can't be seems in places like this. What are you trying to do with metal in something like this? It would have to be seemless and get up under the roof over 16" on both sides. Your metal would have to be 40" wide? Same as with my torchdown. You say it has no drainage. If something I work on has no drainage I fix it so it does. I have fixed these after some other roofing company has done these many times. I bet they thought they did it right also. Remember that if you leave standing water anywhere in your roof system your asking for trouble.
