Subject: drip edge

what is the best type of derip edge to put on a shingled moderately steep roof ? I've see the kind with a 1/2 " lip and those without . Dimensions?? Material??

PLEASE DON'T SPAM THE FORUM. ONE POST ASKING THESE QUESTIONS WOULD HAVE BEEN SUFFICIENT. I WAS JUST GOING TO DELETE THESE AND ASK YOU TO POST AGAIN BUT THEN I THOUGHT THAT AT LEAST THIS COULD BE USED AS A BAD EXAMPLE OF FORUM POSTING.

After reading your other posts I think you want a starter metal installed on the bottom of your roof not a drip edge.

Starter metal is 3" on the roof deck and 1" on the face. At least the stuff we use are. Material can either be an aluminum or finshed 28g metal.
Drip Edge goes on the gables and that doesn't sound like where you were going with your post.
