Most of the time he was in them when I arrived, but on a few occasions I had to put him in them, but he was younger at the time.
To me it was not a big thing as my mom had explained to me when I told her about the diapers that a lot of kids wet their beds and that putting them in diapers for bedtime was not unusual. My cousin wore them also.
I gather you had to wear diapers and rubber pants for bedwetting also. Hopefully it was not made a big thing. As I think about it when I was growing up I can think of about 4 or 5 kids who were bedwetters and wore diapers and rubber pants.
