Did you resist diapers in the beginning? How was it handled?
I was eleven when I started to wet the bed again, it was not every night but maybe once or twice a week. My mom put a rubber sheet on the bed and we hoped it would just stop as suddenly as it had started, but after about a year when I was still wetting once or twice a week, my mom said I would have to start wearing diapers, I begged her not to make me wear diapers again (although I secretly found the idea exciting) Eventually I agreed to wear them, after a lot of coaxing and quite a few threats, but I found if I tried to put them on myself they would leak, or come undone during the night and so my mom started pinning them on me, my mom would fasten the diaper on me while I was standing up, which seemed less babyish than if I had been lying down and would then hold out the rubber pants for me to step into but I still found it very demeaning to have my mom putting me in diapers and rubber pants at twelve years old. By the time I was thirteen I was wetting my diaper almost every night and it seemed to be getting worse instead of better, especially since I would sometimes wake up needing the bathroom but before I could get there and get my diaper undone my bladder would cut loose. It's pretty demeaning waking up in a wet diaper but peeing your diaper while you are awake is much worse. I stopped bedwetting before I was fourteen and stopped having to wear a diaper except when I chose to do so.
