 I was a bedwetter until age 10 or 11 and my parents made me wear cloth diapers and plastic baby pants that they bought through the mail and were meant for older kids who had problems. Each night about a half to an hour before bedtime I had to go to my room with either mom or dad pull down my pants and climb up on my bed and lay down on the diapers that were layed out waiting for me, in the beginning I wore 2 diapers as I got older I had to wear 3 diapers. Diaper rash cream was rubbed over my diaper area the diapers pulled between my legs and were pinned at my waist. With this done the plastic pants (my parents called them rubber pants) were shaken out and put on over my feet and pulled up over the diapers. Once this was done I could go watch TV until bedtime or stay in my room and play with my toys. When it was time to go to bed Mom usually would come into the room and check to see that the rubber pants were covering the diapers. Then I would get into bed. After hugs and kisses I would go to sleep. Most mornings I would wake up with my diapers wet and would take them off, put them in the pail, wash out my rubber pants and hang them to dry in the bathroom.
