like most of the girls here,i made my First Holy Communion as a teenager at 15.What was supposed to be a special day in my life was spoiled by the fact that my parents along with my aunt and gramma took total control over me!The four of them bought my First Communion dress,veil,undershirt,tights and white 'mary jane'shoes.My aunt and gramma then made a cloth diaper by sewing baby diapers together to make one diaper out of them,and got pink diaper pins and a pair of white,adult size plastic pants[rubberpants as they called them] and told me they were my underwear under my tights.The morning of the ceremony,mom,aunt and gramma dressed me.they pinned the diaper on me first,then put the 'rubberpants'on over it,then the white tights followed by the undershirt,then my dress,veil and mary janes.I felt weird and it was a little hard to walk with the thick diaper between my legs! I was the only older girl in my class with the 7 year olds and mom and aunt told other people and my friends and cousins that i had the cloth diaper and 'rubberpants' on under my dress.I was embarrassed and my special day was spoiled by them!
