 Yes there was a rubber sheet on my bed it served as a backup to my rubber pants as there were times when I would flood the diapers and the rubber sheet protected the mattress. From around the age of 9 until I stopped wetting, like you, mom showed me how to pin the diapers and to make sure that everything was tucked inside the rubber pants. In the real warm weather I would go to bed in just the diapers and rubber pants. About age 11 I started having some dry nights and would sometimes go a week or more without wetting then would go back to the regular wetting. At this time mom insisted that I keep wearing the diapers and pants. I probably wore the diapers an pants for close to a month before mom told me I could wear the pants just over my undies and another month with the rubber pants on over my undies there were a couple of wettings but finally mom said to go ahead and take off the rubber pants. There were a few wet beds after that but mom kept a couple of diapers and a pair of rubber pants in the drawer with my undies for awhile to let me know that if I started wetting again that I would be wearing the diapers and rubber pants.
How did it stop for you?
