 She told me I needed to wear them for "just in case." She wasn't being mean. In a way she was justified. When I stayed there during the summer when I was 15 (my 4th summer there) I had been dry for a couple of months or longer. I guess my mother told her that I was finally dry so when I got there I just wore underpants under my pajamas but no diapers or rubber pants. There was plastic on the mattress but I was used to that. I was dry for a bunch of nights and then had an accident. Of course the next night I was back in diapers and pants.

I was dry by the time I visited from college but I had still had some isolated accidents. I don't know if she knew about those or not. But she wasn't taking any chances. She put plastic on the bed. It was brand new. I could smell the plastic. When I took my things to the guest room she told me which bed to use (the one with the plastic. She said something like "when you go to bed I have these for you to wear in case you have a night time problem" and showed me the cotton underpants and youth size rubber pants. I started to protest but she was insistent. There was no point in arguing. I wore them.

How long after you were dry did you have to wear the "just in case" rubber pants when visiting? Did you have to have a rubber pad or plastic put under you also?
