The ones my mom got me were just like the toddler pants but bigger. White plastic pull on pants with elastic waist and legs. Yes they fit very well...especially in comparison to the toddler pants that I could barely fit into.

By "all in one" did you mean like terry cloth or flannel lining or snap in diapers or pads?

Tell me about the youth size pants that you had to wear. Were you having trouble fitting into the toddler size pants? Did she ask you if you wanted bigger pants or tell you that she was getting them? Were they just regular pants or did they have liners or snap things. Were you in 7th grade when she got them for you?
