Yes sometimes when it was too hot to sleep in pajamas I would put on underpants (or sometimes diapers) and rubber pants and a tee shirt on Sunday night and sit in the living room and watch TV or read or talk. Before I started wetting again I used to sometimes wear just underpants and a tee shirt.
Wow I could just about write a book about my mother suggesting or requiring me to wear rubber pants to bed. Of course I always wore rubber pants (almost always with diapers) when we stayed away from home. Sometimes she would insist on my wearing them for a while if I had several accidents in rapid succession like 2 or 3 in a week. I needed to wear them whenever we had company and usually if there were special event where I was likely to be overly “keyed up.”
Whenever I got new pajamas or sheets she would want me to wear rubber pants. Sometimes she was ok with me wearing the rubber pants over 1 or 2 pairs of underpants, other times she was insistent that I wear diapers.
