When I was younger and had a busy day and had a lot to drink mom would tell me that I owuld need extra padding that night and so she would fold 3 diapers together and I would wear those to bed. It was bulky but it worked. Mom was kind of a bug about making sure the bed stayed dry on those days she made sure I went to the bathroom before she put the diapers on.

I could have a juice glass of water after supper if I wanted, sometimes we would go out for ice cream after supper. Usually on those nights mom had the diapers and rubber pants all ready on the bed and so when we got home they went right on and I was off to bed.

Were there times you had to have extra padding because of a late drink or a day when you had a lot to drink?
