For me the diapers WERE the extra padding . Usually when I needed to wear rubber pants at home I would just slide them on over my night time underpants. If my mother was concerned that I would have a more serious accident then she would tell me I needed to wear diapers.

In the beginning I think I wore 2 diapers but as I grew and the baby pants became tighter I could only wear 1. By the time I was 15+ I could only wear underpants and even then would often split the seams on the rubber pants as I tried to wiggle into them.
