I'm not exactly sure how long the rubber sheet stayed on my bed, maybe 6 months and I never wet so that was the end of it.
The last time I wore rubber pants was just after turning 14. We went to visit some friends of my parents. as we were getting ready to leave mom told me to be sure I took my rubber pants with because I would have to wear them when we stayed there. So for the nights we stayed there I wore 2 pairs of undies and rubber pants in bed. The people we stayed with had an almost 5 year old who wore diapers and rubber pants to bed so I didn't feel at all uncomfortable.
