When I was younger I would wake in the morning and the diapers and rubber pants would have done their work as the bedding and pj's would be dry, yes as I got older and started to have dry nights I would wake and the diapers and rubber pants were folded and put under my pillow for the next night. I was praised for dry nights, I was not shamed for wet ones or anything like it.

How did you treat dry nights?
