Subject: These exaggerated truths are getting old

Really?

Who is in charge of the posts on the fb page? I'm seeing some serious "exaggerated truths". Although that's been the theme of this year for a few states including this one. There are quite a few on the page but one recently about the md contestant performing in front of 10,000 people. Pretty sure the contestants that didn't make it through to the finals didn't get to perform and barely got more than their face flashed on tv for 3 seconds. They only performed on the off days in front of different judges and a pretty much empty audience. ( we were there) Am I missing something? These lies are going to make for a disappointed next contestant this year if they think that's what it's really like. Doesn't anyone moderate this stuff?

Boardwalk hall (where the contestants competed) seats about 10,500 people. On preliminary nights the hall was still pretty full. The night it had the least people still looked about 3/4 full. I forget which night MD performed but I can understand why the contestants would say over 10,000 people based on that fact alone. They probably made an estimate based on that that number. Don't start calling people liars here. You have a serious problem if your going to start nit picking facts when you didn't even compete. Regardless of the number all of them still did get the opportunity to perform their talent in front of several thousand people and that is a huge accomplishment to be proud of and talk about on social media to encourage other girls. You were not up there, so stop whining.

I think calling them liars is a stretch. It is their job to promote their titleholder and organisation. There is nothing wrong with that.
