To get yourself a rare paintbrush and also a few rare items just follow the next steps!!
Its really worth it!
Create a new account registering at this link:

Choose a random user name BUT MAKE SURE THAT YOUR PASSWORD IS ONE OF THese
- for a rainbow paint brush - rainbow001
- for a fire paint brush - fire002
- for a scritchy sketchy paintbrush - sketchy003
- for a a faerie paint brush - faerie004
- for a lost desert paint brush - desert005
- for a tyrannian paint brush - tyrannia004
- for a baby paint brush - baby002
- for a pirate paintbrush - pirate007
- for a darigan paint brush - darigan005
- for a random paint brush (and that includes all others) - secretpb010
After you do so, you'll be asked to choose a neopet. Choose between a Lupe or a Shoyru and don't forget to choose their color as red.
Choose a random name for it and ad to the end the number sequence: 0234581
Example: name: Radoaty
name with sequence: Radoaty_0234581
Wait for your code to get to your email and ACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT (thats very important, otherwise the cheat won't work)
After activating your account go to Mystery Island and click on the Haiku generator. Than go to the place according to the paintbrush you want:
- fairie paint brush - Fairie Land - Poogle race
- pirate paint brush - Krawk Island - Krawps
- halloween paint brush - Hounted Woods - Test Your Strength
- island paint brush - Mystery Island - Island Mystic
- tyrannian paint brush - Tyrannia - Tyrannian Town Hall
- lost desert paint brush - Lost desert - Coltzan's Shrine
- all others - Neopia Central - Shop of Offers
After that go back to the Haiku Generator, and then wait until you are able to play at Tombola's. The first ticket you get tells you at least how many days you will have to play until you get your paint brush. You MUST play and be active with your account to get what you want. You would have to be involved by creating a pet, playing games, or exploring for at lease a week or two, to get your account ACTIVE.
It's a long process but its really worth it!
