 hi. i'm an irish step dancer and we have been adding a lot of pointe work to our heavy shoes lately. my problem is that my toenails got bruised and then had to be removed (the 2 big ones). my foot dr. told me that ballet dancers use a pouch made with rabbit fur in it. is this true? i can't find any information on something like that. i've seen the gel ones from ouch pouch but never anything with rabbit fur. if anyone has info on this i would greatly appreciate it!!! Thanks so much.
also, what do you think of a dancer 'cross-training'? i've thought about taking some ballet to help my irish dancing.
