A friend of mine is organizing a Relay for Life in Manhasset. This will take place this Saturday 6/20 at 7 PM. She has asked if Inishfree could support the event with some dancing. Shannon P has signed up, but can't do this alone. Please call me if you can donate your time to this moving event that honors cancer victims and survivors and raises money for finding a cure (and get credit for another show). 631-345-3534.

The Inishfree School of Irish Dancing will hold it's Annual Dance on
June 14, 2009 from 4 - 8 pm
The Rockland Irish American Cultural Center
284 Convent Road,
Blauvelt, NY 10913
We hope all of our dancers from Beginners to our Open Champions will attend.
This is a wonderful opportunity to show your family and friends
what you have learned this year!
The cost is $25 per ticket. Dancers who are performing in the show are free.
Soda, coffee, & tea will be provided.
Everyone attending is asked to bring a dessert item for the Coffee/Tea table.
You may bring snacks and food for your table!
Alcohol is permitted but please remember this is a family function….
Our female dancers should have our Inishfree Costume. For Beginner - Novice this is a green skirt and a white blouse. (please contact Ellen at Shamrock Stitchery- the link is on our website) white bubble socks and dance shoes are also required. For our Prizewinner - Open Championship dancers this is our Green/White/Gold Costume. Our male dancers should wear black trousers, a white shirt, and a green tie, black socks and dance shoes are also required.
Routines will be taught to the dancers over the next few weeks in preparation for the show.
Volunteers and raffle basket donations are needed!

Reminders:
Reservations are Due Next Thursday June 4/Friday June 5!!
Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
Set up / Decorating & Clean Up
Raffle Baskets – We need people to go around to neighborhood establishments for donations – If anyone is donating a basket please let me know.

Please remember that you are welcome to bring food and snacks for your tables.
