Hey Sambe wane,
Thanks for ur posting. Atleast you have let us know about it for our sake. For the ppl like me who have gone and and are making up mind to come there to participate in the election must be very cautiuos.

The Engans are not blind and deaf...........these pretty young gurls should have not done it. Are they looking for money or laik kisim bikname olsem ol i frenim wanpela politician? There is enough fertile land, why not get the butts down to the ground and do something productive than to cripple their bright future. Why not being creative.........make bilums and stuff like that. If they know how to fuck, why not making the correct decision?.... we all know what is right and wrong. Anyways, people are different. They have their own reason to do things.

For this politician, if he knows that he is a victim then, he must not pretend. A good leader have good leadership qualities. Good Leadership qualities are:
1. being honest
2.kind
3.christian
4.attend to ppl's need and
there are many you can think of.

Thanks.......
Sapakali

Hi. Namba Lakans

You and your bro the politicians were voted for benefit and prosperity in Enga. If you intentionally did it then nature will reward you. Bro must know that the reputation for your entire tribe has been spoiled and after him there's no leader from your area and thats full stop. Engans are naturally scientists and at the same time they share a common culture and if they want to exlude you, well thats no question mark. go to hell or either rubbish bin, you and your HIV/AIDS carrier.

Sambe waneo,
isi na relax. Ask one of your old bubus at home.
Apulins are the best tribe in enga. in the old days
all the parents wanted to send their sons and daughters to
apul sq.009. they are the best anyhwere and they have never loos form yet. They are gaining everday.
YOu can see that apulin tribe alone can provide to enga
some top politicians like K. Talyanga and Mathew Parep.
YOu can prove that in 1997 election, Ipatas won and the second ru-up was parep who was a apulin-tanjen and the fourth was talyanga. Enga love the apulins. They are born leaders and are the chosen people. We can even produce the defence secretary. YOU lousy sambe should not compare with a big boy in the field.
We are very good at this game and we will definitely win this election 2007....both in lagaip pogera and enga regional.

ol tok pawa em mipela ya.

Always remember that we need each other more than we think. Among Opones there is no trait that divides us more than the sense of mutual love that bind us- the love that compels us to reach out, to share, to serve and to lead. Now Mathew, Kundapen and Peter are all good persons just as all those who are born into other clans of the tribe of Hela. There are many more good Opone wanes and wanakus out there who have also demonstrated competency to take both responsiblity and lead in a multiplicity of areas such as in the civil service, politics, business, community empowerment, education, medicine, other technical and scientific fields, justice and the peace and in the Lord's ministry. As a united force we stand as one and demand that each one of us reach for our own inhert potentials to contribute to the common cause, not only for the province's cause but for the world were we live in. We need to look out for each other, to support one and another and suffer together. Remember that Opones are supposed to embrace as their apparel the ideals of respect, digity, credibility, and honour (not blind pride, prejudice and greed). Bickering and divisions are just as clear, they deny us progress, prosperity and happiness. What happened to all our wisedom, counsel and instruction from the hakyail anda? In case you may not know where these were passed down from, they were from kairin karenge kamango Gote, haii-tauwe. How can we be misplaced in our times when we have confirmation from the written Word of God and a better promise through Jesus Christ, the kamongon kamongo as our Opene's prophesy has taught us- the idea of yailya-tok so soon. I belive there will never be a better time than now to turn the page and face the world as one.

Sambe wane, so you are saying they are not Engans? You know, simpletons like you shouldn't go around spreading jealousy and envy because Peter Iapatas's tribe defeat your tribe in all aspects of life in Enga.

If you take back your shallow pride and look deeper you will see that Peters' administration is responsible for substantial development activities in Enga. He is responsible for your education too. Of course, despite the fact that Ipatas is a womaniser and has allocated a lot of contracts to his own Tapi Transport. PI's administration is the only administration since the begining of modernisatin in Enga that has truly done an incredible job in the province. Look at the past leaders like your own Paul Torato. What foot prints has he left behind? He is an old timer who does not know what politics is. He has nothing to show. If you are that concerned for Enga, Why are you jumping on the crazy bandwagon that is trying to put him back in the province's top seat?

All of us educated Engans should educate our people to put in the right leaders in this GE. At least Engans should give credit where credit is due. Peter Ipatas should be given credit for what he has done for Enga to date. And if we are to replace him, Let us someone better to replace him with. Someone who can build on from where Peter Ipatas left off.

Apul Power

This is a sensitive issue, you were off on the track and caught up with politics. I did not support Paul Torato whom I dont know him as well. True Ipatas was a good leader. Now can you see, he has brought this very remarkable development that will kill and even ruin you and your family. Can you suggest some creative strategies here so that we can survive this human crisis initiated by ur or my leader, (if it is Ipatas?)

When i first entered UPNG, every engan boys knew Peter Ipatas had HIV/AIDS coz Ipatas himself told the guys not to screw any of the engan girls at Uni as he speared them all with his Lombapai. Well, the point here is this news is not new....and Ipatas told the boys coz he cares for the Engan boys....We don't have to blame Ipatas coz girls search for him to be partakers of his fame.

If he knew he had HIV/AIDS then it is HIS responsibility not to 'spear' them. Did he tell all the girls that he was HIV positive? If not, in some countries that can be seen as attempted murder.

Peter Ipatas did not tie their hands and legs and rape them. All Enga people knows that our governor has AIDS. Why are the young ladies going after him? The answer is very simple, they want to die. Why are we all worried about them? Let them all die.

Lets not blow hot air here. What you and I should worry about is the up and coming generations of Enga, our children. Peter Ipatas has done a fine job with the province so far with what little he could do. Let's all get rid of him now and put in somebody better. Not the same old outdated and traditional leaders.

TO Sambe Wane: Kaim, my apologies for digressing a bit. I take back my stupid remarks. We all have a common goal and that is to see our province progress out of the backwaters it has been buried in for so long.

Obviously, Peter Ipatas's admininstration has done some good for Enga and we should give him credit for that. People keep saying that the school fee policy was Malipu Balakau's initiative but Peter implemented it.

The most important thing here we all should note is that more Enga children who could not have afforded the school fees have benefited from it. They are the ones that will uphold the Enga name in all walks of life and it is for this reason that we should give credit to Peter Ipatas.

Apart from that I think he has also done immeasurable damage to the province in terms of allocating contracts to himself and his political cronies hence he should be removed this GE. But, like I said above, we must replace him with a better alternative for Enga. Not just any 'Old Bomb' with nio track record in the province.

Peter Ipatas is smart. He didn't want any competition from the UPNG boys so he said what is said to disguise his intentions.

The naive UPNG guys at the time could not read him well. No wonder smear campaigns and conspiracy has reigned high.

Peter Ipatas is perfectly healthy and is full of stamine, drive, energy as ever.

The HIV/AIDS status should not be used to discriminate, pre-judge or assissinate the character of a person, even on internet sites. There are international and internet laws which govern the use of such information as the HIV/AIDS stautus of individuals.

PNG is a free country and everyone has a free mind free and will to choose, including choosing to have unsafe sex with a known HIV positive person.

You reap what you sow.

You are right, West Engan...........I agree with you.
See there is no evidence of this issue it is all guessing....."might be or may be" It would have been better if Sambe wane have a video taken of this PM who have spoken saying he is a victim and shown the gal who have been screwed up by him..........I think we better stop here and talk about something that can make Enga a most lovable place.............

Hey, Hey, Hey

Every discussion here tends to point finger at Mr Ipatas. How did you it's him ?, From which hospitals he was tested HIV Positive ?, Which doctor declare Mr Ipatas HIV Positive ?. State your facts first before lashing out at your own descression. I have heard this same rumour four years ago and did not paid much attention to it because there was no evidence to prove it.

I have seen him recently on one of his tours and mate I can tell you, he healthier than what he used to be before.

The author of this Subject Mr Sambe Wane, you will have to tell us who is this MP ?. It could be Kappa Yarka or Dickson Maki, etc.

There is only one proof to it and that is; "If one of the Girls that has been screwed by the MP has been tested HIV Positive and willing to come out publically and have the courage to speak up. Other girls will follow in the same suit as it's always the case we read in the newspapers.

Peace

That is a very good suggestion if He really did what is predicted. I suggest if other elites from Enga can come up with more of such ideas rather than hidding it. We don't know it might kill the entire population of Enga. Prevention is better than curing. TOKOUT ...TOKSTRET.

Engan Population at risk .................Sambe Wane, I am truly saddened to read that you are indirectly/directly refering to a certain politician. Suspecting someone in relation to their HIV status is all up to you but publicly discriminating them is illegal.

There have been rumors that a certain politician is HIV positive and up till now, these are still mere speculations. There are more proper channels to come up with HIV awareness campaigns. Sambe Wane, your method of HIV/AIDS awareness is not the correct way. You have publicly & single handedly discriminated a particular human being. In support to what West Engan has stated; could you, Sambe Wane provided your homework results i.e. 1. Which woman died as direct result of sexual contacts with this politican 2. Which hospital has confirmed the politican's blood results as HIV positive 3. Which other people are living with the HIV virus as a result of sexual contacts with the politican.

Some people have had enough discrimination so far enough to destroy them....................just let them be.
