Rather than a kneejerk reaction and sledging, perhaps you could illuminate some of the more pleasant aspects of wider Ipatas' management approach or style. Otherwise, Mendokain's observations are so ridiculous that they don't deserve a response. Though there maybe some shades of truth in his assertions, the overall composition is a tunnel view. I might also add that such irritations especially at its inordinate length, unrelieved by any contrasting view doesn't deserve a column in the two daily papers.
