I hatched a few eastern turkeys last year. They free roam on our land and I really like having them around. There are three males that follow me around when I'm in the yard. They hav never given me a bit of trouble until today. They decided that they didn't like my Mom and were tyring to attack her. She had to get in her car to get away from them. I was standing right there snd they just ignored me. My 3 yr old daughter even chases them around the yard sometimes. They do seem to get a little disturbed when there is a lot of noise such as a dirt bike or 4 wheeler. Is this kind of behavior typical for youg turkeys? What can i do about it? Can they really hurt someone? Please help!
