I've heard that they both are very private people and are not much for media. Last night at the game, she had on a simple ring with small diamonds all the way around it. Nothing big and flashy. I believe she was with his parents, as well. I don't remember anyone saying that the print up was in the Mercury News, either. It was just stated that a fan gave her a copy of the article.
If they are private, I don't see them calling up the Mercury News and telling everyone. It's their personal life and maybe they want to keep it that way. Just my opinion.
