From the land of the Bluenose.....well doesn't that beat all. Not having to go to work and getting paid. Mister Man it should be that way for everyone everyday!
Anyway Marie started the day right by taking me out to Burger King for breakfast. For a fast food place the meal was rather good. After that she did the family visits then informed me that the "girls" were having a pj movie day and that I could come if I wanted too. Lord love a duck a day of watching chick flicks and wearing blue satin baby dolls............not a pretty thought or sight so I told her I would pass and go a tunder thundering with my Garrett.
Thought I was seeing things when this "feller" waved to me as I was on my way to the old coach stop!
Anyway the dig site was a tad on the windy side and I was glad that I double bagged myself complete with the furbie. I was amazed at how many pet rocks were there just waiting to be adopted not nowing that I was going to pound the halibut out of them. After carefully looking at the stock available I choose one that just fit in my hand so and had a good weight to it and put it in my pocket to keep it warm till needed.
Started with a couple of toasty token and then a few rusty buckles that were under the tundra. My pet rock was a real trooper just a hammering the blade into the ground!
However "Boulder" as I called him was not a very photographic pet!
On the 5th hole of the day I got my thrill for the day as this puppy popped out!
Had one of those deja vu moments as it was not a hundred yards from this spot where last year I hit this one which I gave to French Dave!
Odd to how the hole is close to the same as the other with the 3rd digit in the date punched out. This one was 17?1 and like the other will be given to me bud
Well me son...but not for me Bud .... French Dave who called me yesterday and told me that Monique just gave birth to a girl which they named Elise. French Dave told me he is going back to the "drawing board" and trying again for a bouy!
Frozen but happy I motored home and on the way stopping at Tim's for a mud and ro rolllllll up the rim. Of course my luck had gone south but the coffee was good going down as was the chicken noodle soup once I got home to the empty abode. Rutgar of course didn't even move or wag his tail.
