So far the most I have had in the main coop is 20 at a time and by the start of the next breeding season I just have a hand full. Coyotes are our biggest problem here. I cannot let them hatch outside the coop and cannot convince the guineas to lay in the coop (well, they start there in the Spring when it is still snowy).

Funny, this year I had mostly brown guineas - don't know the official color name - but, the dominant males must have been those two pearls. Or maybe the brown carried a pearl gene. I don't have a single brown keet - they are all pearl except for one lavender. (And two white ones that I bought)

I have two more batches in the incubator, one due this next week and then that is it for this year!
