Snakes have been worse this year than I have ever seen, I've put golf balls in nest and they have swallowed them, I found them latter and killed them, I thought the golf balls were suppose to kill them, maybe I found them too soon. The best luck I've had getting rid of snakes was to drill a small hole in a guinea egg, take a syrange and a 20 guage needle and draw out about five cc's of the yoke and replace it with posion, I use malathion, superglue a peice of egg shell over the hole, the snakes redialy eat them and you never see them, unless you smell them latter. Other egg shells are just too thin.
