Subject: Keets

One of the three keets I kept is now making a very musical three-syllable sound I've never heard before. There are definitely two making the two-syllable sound, and I'm hoping they are females.

Has anyone else heard this sweet three-syllable sound?

I'm very lucky in that BOTH of the royal purple keets I got from Claude at VOO are hens. I thought I'd heard both of them puh-track. I was positive the one with fully-cupped wattles is a hen, now I know for certain the other one with smaller wattles is also a hen! They will fit in nicely (after an adjustment period) with our current flock of four males and three females.
